Friends of Murphysboro

As the first to contribute to the fund that helps pay for Friends of Murphysboro projects, Chresta Lockard is our first ‘Honorary Friend of Murphysboro’.A lifelong resident, Chresta has seen the park change over time and realizes the need to preserve this beautiful piece of Southern Illinois history. Without the support of individuals like Chresta, many F.O.M. projects would be impossible. Each indiviual or organization that contributes, (time, monetary donations, or materials/services), to a F.O.M. community project will be permanently listed on our web site as an honorary member. Its our way of saying ‘thanks’ for helping us reach a higher standard.
