The Friends of Murphysboro is a not for profit community group with several ongoing projects that range from annual events in the park such as our Shawnee Hills Wine Trail Arts Festival, to park renovation projects like our memorial walkway initiative. We are a diverse group of volunteers that work together to improve life in Murphysboro and Southern Illinois by facilitating economic and social growth through community involvement and fundraising events. We are always looking for positive, motivated, creative individuals who are interested in making a difference in the community through hands on involvement.
